ABOUT US

The Trauma Center

The Greater Minnesota Trauma Center is a growing mental health facility that aims to bridge the trauma gap. That gap is the time between when a person is able to reach out for help and services, and when they are able to finally see a provider. In Minnesota, that gap can be anywhere from 3-9 months, especially those seeking help with complex trauma or addiction/chemical dependency. During that time, people's struggles and suffering does not stop for them. Additionally, people in rural Minnesota often have to travel hundreds of miles to find a provider or a specific service. That is where GMNTC can help bridge that gap. With quality therapists and psychological providers, people will not only receive the mental health services they need, but they won't have to wait for months before seeing a provider.

Who We Are

The Trauma Center was created to bring much needed mental health services to the Greater Mankato area. Over the next several years, the Trauma Center will provide access to different types of services, such as medication management, psychological assessments, therapy, Dyslexia interventions, and more. For now, the Trauma Center provides a different type of trauma-informed therapy, consultations for providers and schools, Life and Parent coaching, as well as trainings and CEUs for professionals.
